But
here’s the third kind: The Student IT Committee - we understand what we manage. As a one stop solution for all IT related
problems, “We make IT work” at IIMK.
The
Student IT committee at IIM Kozhikode is the primary interface between the
System Administrators of the IIMK IT infrastructure and students. We are
responsible for taking up IT related issues that the students encounter and for
providing effective solutions.
Additionally,
Student IT committee also maintains the student servers for various activities
like file sharing, radio streaming a.k.a K-Dio and gaming. We help students
troubleshoot various problems they have on their laptops. IT committee also
helps various other committees in their IT requirements.
The
student IT committee has recently hosted an inter-hostel LAN gaming
competition. It included various games like AOE, Counter strike, NFS etc.
