  • The student community enjoys life to the hilt by celebrating all the festivals like Diwali, Dushera, Holi, Navratri, and many more with great pleasure and joy. SPICMACAY and Backwaters organize all the festivals all year round with traditional programmes such as dandiya, kalaripayattu (ancient martial art form of Kerala) along with some really delicious food and delicacies especially made for the occasion
  • Weekly parties are organized in the mess every weekend where all students let their hair down after a hectic weekend and groove to the sound of the latest bollywood, punjabi, rock, trance and psychedelic music played out by our own in house DJ.
  • K-dio our very own in house radio station playing rock, bollywood, punjabi  and various other genres played all night. Everyday is a new day at K-dio with different people taking up the mantle of being the jockey and conducting various programmes like interviews on campus, mimicry and dishing out the masala news of the day.
  • Healthy rivarly exists between seniors and juniors in all the sports. Face-off is an event consisting of almost all sports like cricket, football, basketball, TT, volleyball, pool, bridge, chess, badminton and tennis spanning across the entire year.
  • Roobaroo is a cultural event conducted every year for the induction of the new batch into the IIMK culture and to get to know the seniors better. It involves healthy competition and rivalry between sections vying for the top spot
